Dendrobium luoi var. wenhuii W. L. Yang was reported as a new variety from Fujian province, China. The morphological difference among three entities, the new variety, the original variety of D. luoi , and sibling species D. zhenghuoense S. P. Chen, L. Ma & M. H. Li were also discussed.
