Phauda flammans is an important leaf-feeding insect in Ficus. According to fieldwork, P. flammans has widely distributed in Xiamen. It mainly damages F. microcarpa and F. benjamin, caused a minor harm to F. altissima and F. microcarpa ‘Golden Leaves’. P. flammans has three generations a year in Xiamen. The population of P. flammans young larvae has peaks in early May for generation 1, mid July for generation 2 and mid October for generation 3, which are the suitable periods for the application of pesticides.
