The ornamental plant resources and their landscape applications were investigated from some urban streets, parks in Hong Kong on the basis of field survey and data collection. There are 260 species of 70 families of ornamental plant catalogued, and the characters of ornamental plants and landscape application were discussed and analyzed. Problems and suggestions were proposed on exploring the ornamental plant resources to promote the development of landscape in Hong Kong.
