The green shoots and the thickset buds tissue of Anubias barteri were took as explants to study the disinfection effect of chlorine dioxide with different concentrations on those explants in this paper.The results showed that:when the concentration of chlorine dioxide solution equaled or exceeded 500 mg/L,it could rapidly break down the green pigment of Anubias barteri's mature tissue;the explants which had been soaked by chlorine dioxide solution but hadn't been washed by sterile water took a lower contamination rate but grew slowly and were difficult to differentiate clump buds;Experimental materials soaked in ClO₂ or HgCl₂ solution with the thickset buds tissue as explants could get sterile explants to establish an effective rapid propagation system.
