Two Chenopodium species alien to China, C. polyspermum L.and C. suecicum Murr, were discovered for the first time in Nyingchi, Tibet. These two species occupied the greenbelt and uncultivated land in Nyingchi, and could reproduce normally, indicating their invasive potential in Tibet. Our investigations indicated that they might be introduced accidentally with seeds of turf grass from United States of America.
