Bencao Tujing is a classic with unique literature value and writing thoughts authored by Su Song. Although Bencao Tujing was originated from the government’s initiative and organization, the medicine pictures and its text came from the hard working of the local governments and the medical laboring people, the monograph authored by Su Song obviously reflected his writing thoughts of herbal. Studying the herbal writing thoughts of Su Song is of great historical and practical significance, which could further exploring the valuable literature information contained in the Bencao Tujing and inheriting the rich medical science and living culture of traditional Chinese medicine.
