Using the division seedlings of Oncidium variety named ‘milliongolds’ as test materials, the effects of spraying treatments with different kinds and concentrations of plant growth regulators on Oncidium florescence were studied. The results showed that the blossom date accelerated significantly by spraying 200 mg/L GA3 and GA3 (200 mg/L) + 6-BA (25 mg/L), compared with the control treatment (no spraying growth regulators). Single treatment with 6-BA could improve the rate of flower bud differentiation but make the flower getting smaller. Spraying GA3+6-BA could not only enlarge the flowers size, but also prolong stalk length. The blossom time prolonged significantly by the treatments of spraying 200 mg/L and 250 mg/L PP333, especially 250 mg/L treatment. Besides, the stalk length also decreased by PP333 treatments. There was no remarkably effect on the first internode width of pedicle in all growth regulator treatments.
