Abstract: On the basis of the former references on wild fruit plants in Jiufu Mountain, Fujian Province, some additional species of wild fruit plants in the mountain were reported in this paper. The investigation showed that there were 8 varieties and 55 species belonging to 46 genera and 30 families wild fruit plants in this area, which hadn’t been mentioned in former studies. At the same time, their family name, scientific name, characteristic, the fruiting period, the type of fruit, the usage of fruit, the habitat and the altitude of distribution were listed. Some suggestions about the development and utilization of these wild fruit plant resources were put forward in this paper.
