Abstract: The fertilizer test conducted during 1985-1988 revealed that the soil characteristics were improved with the application of organic manure in the fertilizer ratio, namely, most enzyme activities and main nutrient contents increased. Our study suggested that the optimum amount of organic fertilizer in the red soil citrus orchards was about half of annual nitrogen fertilizer.
