Abstract: Cycas revoluta has been introduced and Cycas garden developed since 1962. An investigation was made on its cultivation, biological characteristics and growth in 2001. The results showed that Cycas revoluta grew well; the blooming time was from May to June and the seed maturation was from October to November; the plant grew slowly so that its annual growth was only 3.026cm in height and its diameter was 0.726cm.

摘要： 厦门园林植物园自20世纪60年代开始开展苏铁的迁地保育工作,对园内引种苏铁的栽培现状、生物学特性以及生长状况的调查表明,厦门园林植物园引种种植的苏铁长势良好,花期为5~6月,种子10~11月成熟;植株生长缓慢,干高年均生长量3.026cm,地径年均生长量0.726cm。
