Changes of Soluble Protein and Reducing Sugar Content in Papaya Plants Infected by PRSV

番木瓜感染环斑花叶病毒后蛋白质和还原糖的变化

Abstract: An experiment was conducted to analyze the dynamic process of soluble protein and reducing sugar contents in papaya plants infected by Papaya Ring Spot Virus (PRSV), and their relationships to disease resistance. The results showed that peak value of the percentage of changes in soluble protein content in susceptible variety(‘Ling nan zhong’) appeared earlier and greater than that in resistant one (‘Shui zhong hong-48’) after inoculated with PRSV; as to the former, when the peak appeared at 24h after inoculation, its value was 54.6%, while the later, when the peak appeared at 48h, its value was 38.2%. The soluble protein bands appearing in uninoculated susceptible variety were one more than those in resistant one. But at early stage of infection by PRSV (at 24h after inoculation), the bands in resistant variety were one more than those in susceptible one, its Rf value was 0.602. The peak of percentage of changes in the reducing sugar content in resistant variety was at 48h after inoculation and the value was 12.3%. But the percentages of change in the reducing sugar content in susceptible variety were all negative after inoculation.

摘要: 本文对番木瓜不同抗性的品种感染环斑花叶病毒后,可溶性蛋白含量和电泳谱带以及还原糖含量的变化规律进行了研究,并分析其与抗性的关系。结果表明,接种处理后,感病品种(岭南种)的可溶性蛋白含量变化率的峰值较抗病品种(穗中红48号)出现早且高;前者出现在接种后24h,高达54.6%,而后者出现在接种后48h,为38.2%。在未接种处理时,感病品种叶片可溶性蛋白谱带较抗病品种多1条;但在接种初期(接种后24h),抗病品种的蛋白谱带比感病品种多1条(Rf值为0.602)。不同抗性品种在接种后的还原糖含量变化也有差异,抗病品种的还原糖含量变化率在接种后48h达到高峰,峰值为12.3%;而感病品种的还原糖含量变化率在接种后都为负值。
