Abstract: The authors summarized the present situation of the utilization of coconut heterosis in China and abroad. Through the investigation of coconut hybrids on vegetative growth, yield, quality and resistance, it showed that coconut hybrids have strong hybrid vigor. Some prospects and comments of heterosis utilization were put forward.
