Abstract: The advances in tissue culture of plum (Prunus) in the world, including culture of shoot tip, stem segment with bud, embryo, protoplast and leaf, are reviewed. The influencing factors, especially different carbon sources and adding matters are evaluated in this paper. Some suggestions for further studies are also put forward.
