Abstract: Litchi is one of the fruits which are the most difficult to be stored in the world. Litchi fruit browns and rots rapidly once harvested. With rapid development of litchi production, the postharvest physiology and technology of storage and transport of litchi fruit have been studied in recent years. The advances in these studies are reviewed in this paper.
