Abstract: The present paper is a report on the study of the morphological characters, utilization and distribution of the folk medicinal plant ‘Yilihuang’. The original plant of ‘Yilihuang’ is Nervilia plicata (Andr.) Schltr. (Orchidaceae), native to South China and a new record from Tongan and Guankou, southeastern parts of Fujian province.
