Abstract: Stem-nodulating legumes have higher nodule biomass and N₂ fixation due to dual nodulation,tolerance of flooding,alkali and acid.They are also unaffected to some extend by mineral N. The use of Sesbania rostrata and Aeschynomene afraspera as green manure crops in low-land rice farming systems is a viable alternative to mineral N fertilizer application.

摘要： 本文概述了豆科茎瘤植物的某些特性,其结瘤数量多,固氮能力强,抗涝,耐酸碱,耐铵,可用于改土培肥。文中还论述了毛萼田菁等绿肥植物在水稻田中的应用。
