Abstract: Seed dormancy has important ecology significance for plants keeping their own multiply development in adverse circumstance.The causes of seed dormancy and its regulation mechanism were summarized in this article,and the existing problems in current research of seed dormancy and the research direction in the future were also discussed.

摘要： 种子休眠对处于恶劣环境中的植物保持其自身的繁衍发展具有重要的生态学意义。本文综述植物种子产生休眠的原因及其调控机理,并探讨当前在植物种子休眠研究中存在的问题及未来的研究方向。
