Inhibitory Activity of Antibacterial and Quorum Sensing of Water-soluble Polysaccharide from Phyllanthus emblica Fruit

余甘子果实水溶性多糖抑菌及群体感应抑制活性初探

Abstract: The inhibitory activities of bacteria and quorum sensing of water-soluble polysaccharide from Phyllanthus emblica fruit were studied. The activity of antibacterial to 5 tested bacterials and the effect on violacein yield of Chromobacterium violaceum CV026 were carried out using turbidimetry. An order of the inhibitory activities of polysaccharide to 5 tested bacteria was Staphylococcus aureus ATCC25933 > Bacillus subtilis ATCC21216 > C. violaceum CV026 > S. marcescens H30 > Escherichia coli ATCC25922; Violacein yield of C. violaceum CV026 was inhibited strongest (53.47?3.10)% at the concentration of 20 mg穖L-1 emblica polysaccharide. In conclusion, the water-soluble polysaccharide of emblica has inhibitory effect of bacterial multiplication and quorum sensing.

摘要: 以余甘果实(粉甘)水溶性多糖为材料,采用比浊法测定余甘多糖对5种细菌的抑菌活性及对改造型紫色杆菌紫色杆菌素生成量的影响。结果显示,余甘多糖对供试菌的抑菌活性大小顺序为:金黄色葡萄球菌>枯草芽孢杆菌>改造型紫色杆菌CV026>红色粘质沙雷氏菌>大肠杆菌;余甘多糖终浓度为20 mg·mL-1时,对紫色杆菌素生成量的抑制作用最大,抑制率达(53.47 ± 3.10)%。因此,余甘多糖具有抑菌活性及群体感应抑制活性。
