Growth Effect of Different Sizes of Root-controlled Containers on Rubber Mini-seedling Budding

育苗容器规格对橡胶树籽苗芽接苗生长的影响

Abstract: The growth vigor of rubber mini-seedling budding was observed by suspension and near-ground culture with different specifications of root-controlled containers. The results showed that suspension culture had a significant effect on the longitudinal elongation (such as plant height and main root length) of rubber grafted seedlings. When the height of seedling containers was the same, the larger volume of seedling containers, the more extension space of root system and better growth of the seedling’s above-ground part. When the volume was the same, the higher height of seedling containers, the longer length of seedling’s main roots. But there were little influence on the above-ground part of seedlings and the diameter of main roots.

摘要: 采用不同规格控根育苗容器对橡胶树籽苗芽接苗进行悬空和近地培养,观测其生长情况。结果表明,悬空培养对橡胶树籽苗芽接苗的纵向伸长(株高、主根长度)影响较为显著。育苗容器的高度一致时,体积越大的育苗容器,根系伸展空间越多,苗木地上部分长势越好;体积一致时,高度越高的育苗容器,苗木主根长度越长,但对籽苗地上部分及主根粗度影响较小。
