Study on Karyotype and Meiosis of Carica papaya

番木瓜核型和减数分裂研究

Abstract: The research results of karyotype and meiotic behaviors of Carica papaya indicated that the chromosome number is 18. They are composed of 9 metacentric chromosomes. The karyotype formula is 2n=2x=18m. 9 bivalents had been observed during diakinesis and metaphase I. No abnormal phenomena such as chromosome bridges and lagging were observed.

摘要: 对番木瓜核型和花粉母细胞减数分裂行为的研究表明,番木瓜染色体数目为2n=18,由9对中部着丝粒染色体组成。核型公式为2n=2x=18m。花粉母细胞减数分裂正常,在终变期和中期Ⅰ观察到9个二价体,未观察到染色体结构变异和行为异常。
