    2007, 36(02): 1-3.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (225KB) ( )
Determination on aroma compounds of Zill mango with headspace solid-phase micro-extraction (HP-SPME) and GC-MSD showed that 22 aroma compounds were detected at the commercial ripe stage and ripening stage of mango, and there were 14 and 10 aroma compounds at the commercial ripe stage and ripening stage, respectively. There were mainly terpenes、aldehydes and acids in all detected compounds.α-myrcene, α-humulene were all detected at the two stages of mango, but their contents were different at the two stages. The main aroma compounds were (+)-2-carene at the commercial ripe stage and δ-3-carene at the ripening stage.

    Abstract ( )   PDF (286KB) ( )
In order to study the characteristics of the leaf lifespan and its influencing factors, the authors chosed 51 evergreen broad-leaved species in Meihuashan Mountain of Fujian Province as research objects. The lifespan was studied by using life-table method. The results were as follows:(1) The leaf lifespan of 51 evergreen broad-leaved species mostly ranged from 1 to 1.5 years and from 2 to 2.5 years. The leaf lifespan of Vaccinium bracteatum was the shortest (0.64a), and the leaf lifespan of Machilus oreophila was the longest (3.66a).The leaf lifespan varies 4.71-fold between them.(2) In regard to the average value, the leaf lifespan of shrubs was 2.01 years and followed by that of large trees (1.97a), the small trees was 1.83a.(3) Among the 51 plant species, the leaf lifespan of dominant species (1.65a) were shorter than that of companion species (2.02a), and the leaf lifespan of sun plants (1.88a) were shorter than that of shade plants (2.15a).(4) The leaf lifespan of the same species became longer with the increasing of altitude, this is the life history countermeasure of improving the capability of gaining carbon, and also is the results of adapting to the environment.

The Genetic Relationship among Common Loquat, Daduhe Loquat and Oakleaf Loquat, According to RAPD and AFLP Analysis
    YANG Xiang-hui, LIU Cheng-ming, LIN Shun-quan
    2007, 36(02): 9-12.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (328KB) ( )
Twenty-four random primers and 5 AFLP primer-combinations were used to assess the genetic relationship among common loquat, Daduhe loquat and Oakleaf loquat by RAPD and AFLP analysis. The results showed that genetic relationship between common loquat and Oakleaf loquat was the least, Daduhe loquat was located in between common loquat and Oakleaf loquat, and more close to Oakleaf loquat. On the other hand, we calculated the band's additivity when common loquat, Daduhe loquat and Oakleaf loquat were viewed as putative hybrid, the outcome suggested that in RAPD or AFLP analysis, the band's additivity was the highest when using Daduhe loquat as putative hybrid and the additivity was decreased when common loquat or Oakleaf loquat were examined as the hybrid. The results above suggested that Daduhe loquat is perhaps a hybrid from common loquat and Oakleaf loquat.

Effect of Exogenous ABA on Adventitious Root Formation in Hypocotyl Cuttings of Mung Bean
WAN Xiao-rong, GUO Dong-liang, XIE Zi-hua, LIU Ling, LI Ling
    2007, 36(02): 15-18.
    Abstract ( )   PDF (420KB) ( )
Pre-treatment of germinating seeds of mung bean with 10-4 mol/L of abscisic acid (ABA) significantly promoted adventitious root formation from rooting zone of hypocotyl cuttings of mung bean.Root number and rooting zone from each 4-day-old cutting were increased by 174% and 45%, respectively, when compared with those of the control cuttings. The enzyme activities of tryptophan aminotransferase, indole pyruvate decarboxylase and indole acetaldehyde dehydrogenase (three enzymes involved in indole acetic acid biosynthetic pathway) in rooting zone of 4-day-old hypocotyl cuttings, were increased by 49.1%, 90.6% and 105.4%, respectively, resulting in a 63.9% increase of IAA content, when compared with those of the control cuttings.Cell number in S-phase of a cell cycle in the rooting zone of 2-day-old cuttings was increased by 13% with the treatment of 10-4mol/L ABA.These results suggested that ABA was possibly promoted adventitious root formation by stimulation of DNA and IAA synthesis.

    Abstract ( )   PDF (294KB) ( )
Influencing factors of static adsorption and dynamic desorption by AB-8 macroporous resins for total flavoniods from Scurrula parasitica were studied, and effects of concentration of sample of extract solution and pH value, surroundings temperature and oscillatory rate on static adsorption capacity, and effects of ethanol concentration on dynamic elution were systematically analyzed. The results showed that concentration of sample and pH value of extract solution had significantly effect on resin absorption properties. The technological conditions of adsorption and desorption for total flavonoids were as follows:the concentration of extract 1.2~2.0 mg/ml;pH 3.0~4.0;the oscillatory rate 160r/min;room temperature;adsorption time 2~3 h;the eluting regent 50% ethanol (5 folds the volume of the resin);eluting rate 1.5 ml/min.Under the optimal conditions, the maximum adsorbing capacity of AB-8 resin for total flavoniods was 29.0 mg/g, with the dynamic elution ratio of 95.0%, the purity of flavonoids obtained was 46.0% and yield 5.5% as well.

    Abstract ( )   PDF (303KB) ( )
The survey investigated the 100452 individual trees at 159 sites of roadside niches, urban parks and institutional ground.Compared by the species diversity, species composition, relative abundance (RA), species importance (SI), the results were as follows.(1) There were 204 tree species belonging to 52 families of Zhanjiang urban forest, the species diversity was abundant. The species composition of urban forest was influenced significantly by the different land uses, habitats and urban cultures, etc.(2) The species composition reflected the character of zonal flora of the tropical monsoon forest.Exotic group had 96 species and the exploitation of native trees was not enough.(3) Most trees were derived from a small group of dominant species. The RA of the former 25 species at roadside was 89.66 and there were the most uncommon species in parks.(4) There were only 26 species of SI (species importance)>1.Seven key species reflected the basic feature of Zhanjiang urban forest.

    Abstract ( )   PDF (143KB) ( )
The terminal bud of Rhododendron simsii was used as explants to study the influence on establishing an aseptic strain by the different color of flowers, the different disinfect time and the different hormone combinations in medium. The results showed that the surface disinfection of 0.1% HgCl2 for 10 minutes was best for the explants.Under the same disinfecting condition, the ratio of pollution of white flower type was lower than that of red-flower type, the ratio of browning of red-flower type was lower than that of white-flower type. The initial culture medium with high concentration of ZT resulted in low browning ratio of the explants.

    Abstract ( )   PDF (190KB) ( )
The contents of heavy metals as Cd, Pb, Hg, Cr and As in vegetable soils of Zhangzhou were investigated and the heavy metal contamination was evaluated by taking the ways of single pollution index and complex pollution index. It showed that, by taking the background value of soil of Fujian as the evaluation standard, soils of some vegetable lands of Zhangzhou were polluted by heavy metals with a pollution order of single pollution index as Cd (2.39) >Hg (2.00) >Pb (1.40) >Cr (0.63) >As (0.57) and the main pollution elements were Cd, Pb and Hg of which the pollution of Cd and Hg ranked medium grade, meanwhile the complex pollution index was 1.75 which ranked light grade.By taking the second grade standard of soil environmental quality as the evaluation standard, the complex pollution index was 0.14, belonging to non-pollution grade.
