Abstract: This paper described the recent advances on Bromeliads applications and basic researches.The researches on tissue culture and germplasm preservation were mainly introduced.The paper reported the general situations of genetic transformation and genetic markers on bromeliads.Some problems and perspectives of this field were also discussed.
