Effect of Low NPK Stress on NPK Content in Rubber Seedlings Leaf
    ZHOU Jun,CHU Jun-qiang,SHI Fa-meng,LIN Wei-fu,CAI Ming-dao,LAI Hua-ying
    2012, 41(01): 15-19.  DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1009-7791.2012.01.004
    Abstract ( )   PDF (249KB) ( )
The leaf NPK content of Hevea brasiliensis seedling was studied under low-NPK stress and regular fertilizing with rubber clone GT1, RRIM600, PR107 as material. The results showed as follows. The leaf NPK content of leaf-umbrella, which regenerates after the treatment, was closely related to the component and processing time of low-NPK stress treatment and the symptom of nutrient deficiency would be alleviated or improved by timely and regular fertilizing. The onset time and the degree of decrement and increment were different between the leaf N, P, K content, in which the response of N element was the fastest, P element next and K element the slowest. There were different interactions among elements of N, P and K under low NPK stress. The variational trends of leaf nutrient content under treatment were basically the same of all three clones, but the tolerance and resilience capacity to low NPK stress were different, in which RRIM600 was more sensitive, PR107 next, GT1 was less sensitive.

Induction of Salicylic Acid on Resistance to Pb Stress in Brassica rapa var. chinensis
    XIA Jin-hua,YE Li-min,YU Xiao-feng
    2012, 41(01): 36-38.  DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1009-7791.2012.01.008
    Abstract ( )   PDF (218KB) ( )
The growth of pakchoi was significantly inhibited under the condition of 0.3 mmol/L Pb stress. The treatment 0.1 mmol/L salicylic acid (SA) could significantly alleviated the growth toxicity of pakchoi seedling under the 0.3 mmol/L Pb stress. The effect of SA treatment on the growth of pakchoi under Pb stress showed the ‘low to promote and high to suppress’. The treatment 1.5 mmol/L SA did not alleviate the toxicity but increased toxicity. This may be related to the compound injury formation of high concentrations of SA and Pb.

    GUO Xiang-quan,WU Qi-zhi,HONG Wei,GUO Xiang-dui
    2012, 41(01): 41-44.  DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1009-7791.2012.01.010
    Abstract ( )   PDF (244KB) ( )
The electrical conductivity of different Eucalyptus dunnii plus trees was determined at normal temperature and under different low temperature stress, to discuss the relation between the change of electrical conductivity and the individual cold-resistance in different treatments. The results indicated that the electrical conductivity of different individuals existed diurnal fluctuation at normal temperature, which did not contact directly with the individual cold-resistance. The electrical conductivity of different plus trees varied with the differences of cold-resistance under different low temperature stress, the cold-resistance stronger, the low-temperature interval that the electrical conductivity changed gradually more hysteretic, and the range of variation smaller. According to the electrical conductivity in different treatments, the logistic equations and self-lethal temperature of different individuals were respectively gained by regression analysis, to quantitatively assess the cold-resistances of different individual, which would provide the scientific basis for selecting plus trees of the rapid-growth and cold-resistance.
