    2009, 38(03): 1-6.  DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1009-7791.2009.03.001
    Abstract ( )   PDF (1303KB) ( )
Restoration succession plant communities in NongLa peak-cluster depression were analyzed by the methods of Two Way Indicators Species Analysis (TWINSPAN) and Detrended Correspondence Analysis (DCA) in this paper.Based on the vegetation systematic principle,20 plots were divided into 10 associations by TWINSPAN to describe their community characteristics. The relationship of restoration succession community and environment grades was given by the DCA result of 20 plots, which showed that the main ecological factors influencing distribution patterns of associations were resume time, human disturbance and bare rate.Moreover,53 species were classified into 4 groups by DCA.The main ecological factors influencing restoration succession communities and their distribution pattern of species were resume time, lithology, moisture and so on.The ecological adaptability of groups and their significance and regeneration niche in communities were reflected by the position in the taxis of all species.

    2009, 38(03): 31-33.  DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1009-7791.2009.03.008
    Abstract ( )   PDF (929KB) ( )
Influence of GA3 and ABA on germination of immature rice Bo II You 15 seeds were investigated. The results of treatments with different concentration of GA3 and/or ABA and distilled water (as control,CK) were as follows.Among those treatments,GA3 with 500 mg/L was the best to promote germination, and the germination rate could break through to 80% on the fourth day, which was 56% higher than that of CK.Treatment of ABA with more than 500 mg/L,could inhibit the germination markedly. When treated with both GA3 and ABA,with the ratio of GA3/ABA=1(50 mg/L),GA3/ABA=1/2(10 mg/L),promoted the germination respectively, and made the germination rate get to 60% and 50% on the seventh day, which was 30% and 20% higher than that of CK.Further study indicated that such regulation of GA3 and ABA on germination of immature rice seeds was closely related to the α-amylase activity.

    Abstract ( )   PDF (1223KB) ( )
The effects of MES on the growth of Arabidopsis thaliana were analyzed in this study. The Arabidopsis seedlings were cultured on the medium with and without 0.05% MES,respectively. The results showed that the levels of dry weight, fresh weight, chlorophyll content and water content of Arabidopsis seedlings grown on the medium with 0.05% MES were higher than those without MES.Moreover, the activities of PAL and POD of Arabidopsis seedlings grown on the medium with 0.05% MES was lower than those without MES.These results indicated that MES could promote the growth of Arabidopsis thaliana through keeping the pH value of medium in stabilization.

    2009, 38(03): 40-43.  DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1009-7791.2009.03.011
    Abstract ( )   PDF (905KB) ( )
The mixed substrate consisting of orchard soil, common substrate for flower and wormpost which were mixed by volume ratio of 6:3:1,could significantly improve the survival rate and the robust level of the seedlings of Emilia sonchifolia and shorten its time to seedlings. The growth and the yield of E. sonchifolia were affected by the thickness of substrate, light intensity and spacing in the rows in varying degree. The root growth of E. sonchifolia was mainly affected by light intensity and the thickness of substrate, while with adequate light and thick substrate, its root system was stronger. The stem growth of E. sonchifolia was mainly affected by light intensity and secondly by spacing in the rows. But the leaf growth was less affected by any one of the three ecological factors. The yield of E. sonchifolia was most affected by spacing in the rows and was less affected by light intensity and the thickness of substrate. It showed that the reasonable close planting could improve the yield. On the other hand, appropriate shading raised the total flavonoids content of E. sonchifolia, but extended the time for squaring.According to the studies, substrate thickness 7 cm,light intensity 50% and spacing in the rows 5 cm×25 cm gave the best results for cultivation of E. sonchifolia.
