Abstract: Fruit ripening is a complicated biochemical and physiological process and ethylene is a major factor regulating the ripening process. Progress in characteristics of SAMase, ACC syntheses (ACS), ACC oxidase (ACO) and ACC deaminase genes and mutants of ethylene receptor and their clones is reviewed. Meanwhile, the application of gene engineering to control fruit ripening is also discussed in this paper.

摘要: 果实成熟是一个复杂的生理生化过程,而乙烯是引发果实成熟的主要因素。本文简述乙烯合成过程中S-腺苷甲硫氨酸水解酶、ACC合成酶与ACC氧化酶、ACC脱氨酶基因和乙烯受体突变体的特性及克隆;同时,评述利用基因工程技术控制果实成熟的应用前景。
